The Era of Gatsby

  After going over the story for the first time since high school, I was able to understand it a lot better. Learning of the life style of the time described in The Great Gatsby, I think I would enjoy it. Everyone seems to know one another really well and have a good time. Aside from losing all the modern technology we have today, I think I would have a good time in the era. Especially if I lived near Gatsby's neighborhood. Their would always be something happening on the weekends at Gatsby's house and everyone would be there. I would be able to drive those old cars that aren't even made now in modern times and if I was able to get a decent job, I wouldn't be able to complain. Going straight to the era that Gatsby lives in from what we live in today would be difficult to adapt to, but once I learned about everything I think it would be fun to live there.
